The conference I attended was the SCOUNL Autumn Conference. Details of speakers and presentations can be found at http://www.sconul.ac.uk/news/events/egm2007/

I found Jeff Trzeciak of McMaster University inspirational! He recognised the need to offer library staff the opportunity to become more aware of students use of emerging web technology and supported the development of a staff training programme to include topics such as RSS, blogs and wikis. The word has spread outside the Library so that the Library is now becoming recognised on campus as the experts in the field and asked to offer the staff training programme to university staff as a whole. I just find that so uplifting. It is great to know that there is still life left in being a Librarian!
